Consolidated was born in London on March 1st 1990.

Ten years later while many agencies were selling out to large networks, we bucked the trend and bought ours because we believe that independence is best for clients and best for us. So we dug deep and invested, on the way attracting £2m from Close VCT Management for a minority stake in the business. People from all over the company jumped in too.

In the same year we were awarded PR Week's Consultancy of the Year accolade.  A vintage year for the agency, but it gets even better!

In 2004 we opened up a second home in Edinburgh to service the growing number of organisations seeking on-the-ground representation north of the border. The team in Scotland is already delivering award-winning work, and landed a place on the Scottish Executive's inaugural PR roster in its first year. In fact, we are the only agency to be both on the roster for the Central Office of Information and the Scottish Executive.

We are a member of the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), Association of Professional Political Consultants (APPC) and have achieved the Consultancy Management Standard (CMS) accreditation. Acronyms coming out of our years, you might say. 

Earlier this year we were ranked, for the fourth year running, in the top 30 Sunday Times Best Small Companies To Work For league.  It's probably our proudest moment to date. Oh - that and the fact that our founding client, BVHE, is still with us all these years later.
