Pulse is the agency's top-notch planning team.
We set it up five years ago because we wanted to understand why the people our clients want us to target behave they way they do, how best to reach them and what motivates them. While we are fans of gut instinct, hunches and spontaneity, we know that in the real world you can't plan a PR campaign without knowing who you are trying to reach.
Pulse has become the market insight service for all Consolidated client teams. Headed by our planning director, it's involved at all stages of the client relationship, from providing crucial insight when we are getting to know clients, through strategy planning and campaign direction and right down to picking the most appropriate channels to reach target audiences. A host of resources including TGI, which is the industry standard media planning research tool, help the team to help us zero our sights.
Pulse also operates as a research business. Services are wide ranging; everything from highly cost effective primary and secondary research into markets, media and consumers to strategic development and trends insight. We also offer focus group facilitation and analysis, observation studies, visual audits, depth interviews, desk Research, online surveys, self-completion postal surveys and telephone research.
